Spent 7 weeks in Pendeen in 1978. Remember the beacon being lit on the top of the hill. Also remember the fog horn night and day!!🤣🤣🤣

Another week. Another walk...or should I say obstacle course! All made better with an ice cream at the end of course. Fascinating history about DH Lawrence. Zennor is the epitomy of what Cornwall is. The coast road is a delightful drive from St.Just to St.Ives with a rather nice place for a cream tea on the way along! I simply loved the old chapel & the painting on the wall hiding away behind overgrown foliage and all with a glorious sunshine filled backdrop of those cliffs and sea. Wow. Simply fab. As you know we couldn't make it there so it's great you bring it to us instead....J x

Love Cornwall! What a glorious day you chosen to do this walk
Well, where do I start? What a diverse but, spectacular walk. We so enjoyed the history lesson especially the D H Lawrence facts and the graffiti in the bible room. The one thing that I can always guarantee from your video’s is information from some of your many books. You mentioned the scenery resembled the Mediterranean, & we agree with you, just look at the colour of that sea, absolutely beautiful. That walk is renowned for the difficult terrain “those boulders have been there for a year or two” ha ha!! you did well to negotiate them though. Smashing video. Well done.

Aww one of my favourite parts of Cornwall ❤️ just love Zennor. That was a very interesting walk, loved the tumbledowns 😊 and the history of DH Lawrence. On my second visit in September we drove the coast road from Pendeen to St Ives and was going to stop at The Tinners but the weather was so bad. Think the day you filmed this must of been one of the last warm days. Thanks for sharing Sarah and Andrew 😍xx

Loved the walk to Zennor. Thanks so much. As for Andrew's heerd of cows joke, I think I have told you before that I was brought up in a town called Bulls in the Rangitikei county in NZ. They used to have a sign at the entrance to the town that said 'Heard of Bulls, a town like no udder!' That's for Andrew's amusement. Thanks again, it was a lovely video, even with the ads.

Luv Andrew's deduction re how one can get stoned going home from the pub! And what an adventure - even w/o the storied Mermaid, which, even tho I've never been there, I've seen via other vids. So yr trek has given me a glimpse of Zennor's extended charms. Perhaps those tidepool divers were filling in for the Mermaid that day - Idyllic spot for a swim, just don't get swallowed by the Sea!

A very lovely walk. I have done the coastal part of it both ways and I love it. And honestly - the boulder area down by the beach is only about 10 meters long 😊 There are so many interesting things to see in and around Zennor. I believe I'll have to visit Zennor again in the future and give myself more time to explore the area. Thank you for the great video 🥰

I used to drive a bus route for Western Greyhound back in 2013 from Penzance up through Bone Valley dropping the children at Tryhall School, then down into New Mill turning left all the way to Gurnards Head pub lay by waiting for another bus from St Just and one more from St Ives. We would all swap passengers and I would continue to St Ives on the coast road passing through Zennor, Eagles Nest, Towednack, turning left at the cross roads and then turning right at the round house in St Ives down the Stennack and up to the bus station, what a beautiful route
