That was excellent, that beach is so stunning even when its grey. It was made for what you do. Those dunes are hard work to climb back up !

Thanks for making your videos, they're super inspiring and cool! After watching your video of El Medano, Tenerife, I decided to spend there 3 months this winter, learning wave. It was a total blast, I had a massive progression and even bought my first bit of wave kit. Totally hooked. Now back in the UK, I'm hoping to hit Hayling and Cornwall next, hope to see you in the water! thanks for making these videos!! keep doing them!

Thanks for the video. I didn’t know Cornwall. I am impressed by the clean and long waves and the wild nature. I wonder whether an intermediate could manage to enjoy with these conditions.
@LucasMeldrumK902 жыл бұрын
Yes it can be really good. I would say these over head high waves will be too much for an intermediate but smaller down the line conditions can be perfect to get into the waves

The morning was amazingly clean! You should, you'd be unlucky not to have a good day on the water surfing or windsurfing!

Mate that's a really good video. You managed to make the west country look very pleasant indeed. I used to live there at uni also. I might move back soon! How much wind did you have? Can you give me the stats wind board size and all that. Keep up the good video well done. tom
@LucasMeldrumK904 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom, glad you enjoyed it, sure is the place to be in the Autumn. Winds probably ranging from 15-20knots. I'm planning to do a quiver video showing my set up for this year so stay tuned :)

Watching top names riding in Hawaii is good but you hardly ever get to see them doing the in-between stuff like slogging around, falling in and what happens after finishing a wave. Your video is so much nearer to what most U.K. riders need to see. You talked about the tide coming in fast, do you use the moon phases?
@LucasMeldrumK903 жыл бұрын
Hi, yeah I found that too. That's why I'm trying to do something a bit different so its nice that you say that and appreciate it. We have big tides in Cornwall so its important to look at the tide time tables, which of course is predicted from the moon phases.

Love the go pro stuff. Couple of questions...what size board were you using and using a 4.7 do you plod out and use the waves to get planing or did you have any power in the sail..it looked pretty light wind. Nice clean waves in the morning set Loved it.
@LucasMeldrumK904 жыл бұрын
Cheers. 78 L which is my big board, I'm planning to do a quiver video with more details showing my set up for this year. Yep exactly, just enough wind to float out and once you're on the wave you get tones of apparent wind
