COROLLA 2015 - INSTALATION VIDEO SPOILER Z TYPE

Please anyone who is thinking about getting this spoiler, don't. I ordered one a while back and installed it. I removed their tape (because they left gaps between pieces, so water would 100% get in) and used 3M body molding tape. The plugs they give you will let water into your trunk, and destroy the trunk gasket after opening and shutting your trunk a few times. I ran a bead of silicone around it and left it, after a year the paint and fiberglass started cracking and I was getting a massive amount of water in the spoiler. It was so bad I had to remove it, and wasn't able to repair it. I ordered another one, this time I made it permanent. I siliconed around the screws and washers on the inside of the trunk lid, then I filled in the holes with body filler and painted over it. I ran a bead of silicone TWICE around the spoiler and it still gets water in it. There's no possible entry anywhere where I siliconed, so I'm assuming this one has cracking as well. I'm going to have to get a new trunk lid after all of this. Save yourself some trouble and just get a small tape-on spoiler. This thing has been a nightmare.

Removing the S oem spoiler: open trunk, partially remove cloth panel by gently pulling at top tab points- no need to fully remove plastic tabs just make enough room to wiggle cloth panel out and around them..There are four nuts to remove that attach spoiler plus two blue plastic tabs at each end that you can break off...heat spoiler and use knife or thin cutting utensil to cut through glue that attaches the spoiler on the top...itll take patience to break the spoiler free but it will

Quedo bonito pero a mi pareser por ningún motivo debieron perforar la lata la exponen a que entre agua y comience a oxidarse no era necesario con el Adhesivo 3M es suficiente ....fueron muy irresponsables 😡👎👎👎👎

Dezmond Lemke this guy would never answer your questions! None of the questions have been answered! So If i remember i know there is a 2 plastic clips on both ends! And i think it was 2 or 3 luck nut in the middle! Youll have to remove your trunk carpet cover to have an access to it! I was gonna put the same trunk spoiler on the video but this guy never answer! So i ended up putting mugen on my car! Check my video

Jimmy Antuna for me its hard did it by myself aligning, drilling and mine is sport model came with oem spoiler hard to remove but since jdm is life I did lol theres no manual I just follow this video on how to do it check on IG riceclean youll see my corolla
