If anyone is planning to buy one of these cars, so here is my honest review. Recently we sold Altis 1.6 special edition. It gives an average of 10-11 km/l in city and max 15 km/l on highway. I think it is useless to consider both of these variants in this price bracket. If you prefer Toyota go for Grande. Ground clearance is much compromised due to body kits. Interior quality is also average. And this generation seems outdated (even if it's cvt). Go for Korean brands like Kia and Hyundai. As the owner is complaining about parts availability of Elantra, if you can spend 7 million on a car you can get it insured as well. They have service network across Pakistan. Those cars are readily available without any kind of premium. They offer reasonable features as well. And I guarantee everyone that their built quality is far better as compared to these scraps. Most of the people can't escape Toyota's love, but in my opinion Toyota IMC has deteriorated it's standard in last few years. I am even surprised that people spend 8 million on Grande rather than buying Sportage FWD. We'll it's Toyota's luck that they are still successful in selling a 9 year old Corolla. I am not giving this opinion as a keyboard warrior, I have used Toyota more than a decade. We'll it was a little knowledge from my side.

Being owner of Corolla 1.6 altis X 2022 from almost one year Here is few points according to my experience, *Fuel average is 9-10 in city and 15-16/liter on motorway if cruising under 130km/hr *Good in city as well as on motorway but feels under power on hill stations *Ground clearance is compromised due to kits on front/back, *haven't spent even a penny except oil change services *cruise on 170+ on motorway still felt everything under control *brakes are fine but a lot of room for improvement *stability road grip is ok felt no such issue *ac is better than any sedan in this league *seats are comfortable but only 3 adults can adjust at back seat *plastic material is not upto mark * need to push bit higher in first/second gear to gain speed This is highlights for anyone who wants to buy! except shaskay this car is a good city driven sedan if you care about your hard earned money forget korean/chinese vehicles in market

The long drive averages are totally incorrect. I am a user of same altis 1.6 since 2017 and it never goes beyond 13 km/ltr.

Then either you drive too hard or your car needs maintenance. I drove both Gli 2020 manual and Altis 1.6 AT, both can go 16.5 if kept at 100 speed. I tested many times from tank to tank.

yeap anyone who understands how CVT works would know that it doesnt have Gears. is CVT k name mein hi Continuous variable transmission likha hua hai which means that at any given instance it's ratio will be different than the previous one, hence no Gears to change ratio to another fix value.

speed and driving style does make a difference, i have a 2014 honda city aspire 1.5 manual, i get 13 to 13.5 in city, never tried on long, but it does give me an average of 15+ if i am going to the airport in karachi. My brother has a 2011 1.3 city that car gives him 10 in city.

was ur car properly maintained? bcz i have the 2017 facelift altis 1.6 auto, and i was giving me about 7.5 to 8.2 km/l in city and i drive neither slow or fast. i got it maintained, got it's fuel filter, oil filter, oxygen sensor changed, got it's throttle body and catalytic cleaned and my car was easily gives me 11.5 to 12 km/l. on longer routes it gave about 15.6 to 16 km/l

Nah, the car is a pure fuel guzzler. Even after all it's maintenance my car's average can't go above 9.2 km/l. Uncomfortable seating,my back hurts everything when I drive it. Better to get either the Civic rebirth manual or Corolla 2014 model E140 any variant.
