Good thing you didn't use those paper gasket. The paper one always leaks. Rtb is good way to go.

Bailey what sort of suspension are you running? I've heard 84-86 stuff fits and wondered if you could comfirm?

My chassis is an ae71. I can put anything off of an 86 directly on to my car. If you have a ke or te then the suspension is totally different.i hope that answers your questions. I have Megan coil overs and t3 every thing else.

Are the axle shafts different lengths ?

I don’t think that they are. After years or directional load though you might want to stick them back in the whole they came out of. I also noticed that one side had groves cut on the wheel flange in a spiral pattern that matched the groves on the housing flange. That side would be your matched side.

it was an lsd diff but was worn out. now its welded
