It looks good! I think if you get a chrome stick shift top to match, or do some chrome somewhere, just to make the control knobs become less of a focal point. I think that will help with the look...

I just got a new corolla in Thailand, its 2012 1.6 CVT with advanced CNG built in. Didn't come with an owner's manual unfortunately. How do I know where to start regarding upgrades. Such as how do I know what steering wheel upgrade might fit, or which new tires would fit my corolla? Thinking about installing a t’eyes head unit also maybe you can consider that in your next upgrade! Love the channel thanks.
@californiaeveryday Жыл бұрын
Any tires will fit that will fit your rim size and 5x100 bolt pattern and 54.1mm hub bore. Also you can look into wheel spacers for a wider stance.

@@californiaeverydayappreciate that thanks. Trying to also understand how I would know that myself, do the owners manuals usually say what parts can upgrade etc?

When it comes to modifying your car, especially a car like a Corolla where there is not a lot of aftermarket support, its a lot of research and trial and error, sometimes I buy parts thinking they fit and they don’t. So just reading through a bunch of forums will get you a bunch of information for things people have done in the past!

@@BrandonStellmachSup Brandon. So I just installed a borla prox muffler on my 2010 corolla along with a resonator. It's nice and quiet and noticeably a little loud on higher rpms. I was thinking about buying headers, but would that definitely make an increase in sound, and if so could you provide me with the link of the ones you used?
@BrandonStellmach Жыл бұрын
@@thexiafury3104adding some new headers won’t really add much noise, but will usually change the tone of the exhaust. Typically a deeper tone.

Nice mod vid! ❤....i recently bought a used 2008 fielder (org from japan) in trinidad and was considering changing out the manual ac controls for the digital, mainly to get the auto feature. Its more convenient. But i heard u said that this will not work plug and play? Did u mean the euro ones wouldn't work? It should work if it's from a Japanese ver right? Would appreciate ur feedback on this.
@BrandonStellmach2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I appreciate it! As for upgrading to the Manual climate controls, it depends on how your setup is in your 2008 fielder. The biggest issue is that the manual has cables that control the blower blend color controls, which means you would need to change the blend door actuator to the electronic one, as well as any other parts that are required to work.
@vinothr12499 ай бұрын
Is to possible to change the manual ac to automatic climate control in corolla? Is it just a plug and play of switches or complex method?
@BrandonStellmach5 ай бұрын
I have looked into it, it would require a rewire of the whole AC and would need many additional parts to get it to work!

@BrandonStellmach2 ай бұрын
I am not sure, I know in the 9th gen corolla, they had a slightly different climate control setup and the knobs looked like a different size. I would compare the back of your climate control plugs, to the ones you want to upgrade!

@BrandonStellmach Жыл бұрын
The pedals I installed in this video. INSTALLING CAMRY PARTS ON MY COROLLA kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3OloWhmp7ufask A squeaky clutch pedal seems to be a common problem, it has done it on both of my corollas. Not sure if something just needs to be lubricated. As for a clutch replacement, I know it could cost over 1k for other places to do it. While if you do it yourself, it will only cost maybe $200 for parts.

A tip I have for people who stick with the originals and have to replace the bulbs: Get a pair of reverse action tweezers. Clip+file the ends if you need to, but having the extra leverage worked more for me than a plain screwdriver did.
