Corona Scare, Sarah's Play and our Bro Blizzard | Life in Japan Episode 44

From exceptionally warm weather to a possible pandemic, this winter in Japan is turning out to be one of the craziest in recent history. Japan has just cancelled public schools for up to a month to control the spread of the Corona virus. It's weird to think that only a little bit ago we were enjoying Sarah's last kindergarten play and a ski trip where we could hardly see anything because of the weather. Well, it's all in this episode of Life in Japan, because it all has to do with life here right now.

Glad Sarah got her place in before school closed. It's so great they keep the kindergartners with the preschoolers, regular school can wait till they're seven. A lot of my friends are holding their kids back now so they are more mature when they start.

Sarah's performance was wonderful! The first time I went skiing, I tried slowing down by crossing my skis like I was told to and ended up tumbling down the hill and landed in some deep snow among the trees. I still had fun.

i remember when my high school shut down, haha. it was the first confirmed case in my state, and so it was just supposed to be a long weekend so they could sanitize the school, but then more and more cases popped up, so it became an extended spring break, and then a 6 month summer vacation😅. we had to go back like a month late to get all our stuff from our lockers! shame that nothings really been the same since. but at least i got a proper prom and graduation this past spring!

Life in Japan For sure! コネチカットに住んでいます haha! East coast, America. I have always wanted to learn Japanese and Quarantine was a great excuse to start. It is crazy over here right now, which is another reason why i love and appreciate “Life in Japan” so much. You guys are on point! Family, Fun, Fellowshipping and Jesus. If we all had good families like yours, the world would be a much nicer place right now.
