Unfortunately, there is no version of Corona in SketchUp so it is not a topic our channel would handle. The best suggestion would be to share the idea for the useful tutorial on the Ideas Portal for Vantage, at chaosvantage.ideas.aha.io/ - hope this helps! Tom

Great job corona team! Make scattering more artistic is amazing. Please someone make a request to make it possible to choose brush scatter objects. Like for example if you have various of trees in scatter, and you want to add some extra pines only, etc. Or if you have scatter object with zero chance of generating, but available to be added with brush.

Hi Chaos Team, PERFECT ALPHA CHANNEL + HALO ISSUE OF TREES ON GLASS WINDOW - saved in EXR -in Vray, you will just make the DOME (HDRI) "Invisible" in final render and you have perfect transparent background saved in EXR ...no halos even in pixel size level ...and the Alpha channel on Glass Windows with Trees behind is good too Q: What is the exact method of this in Corona? Thanks -in corona, I checked the DIRECT VISIBILITY OVERRIDE in pure black - it did overall good job on Alpha Channel, BUT NOT on "GLASS WINDOW" with trees behind it

As noted in the release blog and webinar, as soon as we can, but there is no timeframe other than that. This won't just be the scatter instance brush, but also the general handling of instancing within Scatter. Hope this helps! Tom

it seems to not like scattering on large objects with little over a million faces. tried using it to scatter on optimized terrain done in gaea.when i went to scatter, 3ds max interface became unusable/ painfully slow to navigate .

@@ChaosCorona ChaosScatter performance is terrible on high poly meshes, such as large landscapes, I dont even use Corona but this is the same with Vray as well. It is basically unusable with high instance counts on high poly terrain, I usually use a non-rendered low poly version of a terrain to make it usable, its less accurate in placement but make 3dsmax usable. I think this is a combination of 3dsmax viewport + chaos scatter, Forestpack is faster but less accurate in placement of instances

Corona stays only for 3ds Max and Cinema 4D because porting it to any other application would slow down the development on the core product, perhaps more so with Blender due to the extra challenges of porting to it. Hope this helps you understand why we are not developing Corona for any other applications. Tom

CHAOS COSMOS REAL WORLD OPTION: Hi Chaos Team - downloading materials from Chaos Cosmos, and enabling "Use Real-World Scale" doesn't work -not sure if this is a bug Corona Version: 12 FEATURE REQUEST: please create a NODE that can override multiple Corona Bitmaps' TEXTURE COORDINATE -like in Vray, simply just using 1 VrayRandomizer solves the problem
