Missed out the 3rd & 8th February in my intital 1961 run as I stupidly thought the whole of February was already available. Uploading them here to rectify that.

Another good episode, thank you. More fab scenes with Elsie and Dennis, didn't think she'd slap him though.

Great episode. My friend Zulema was a dancer with a python. We stayed with nan for a weekend, and the snake was curled up on nans lap each night and she stroked it like a cat! He caught a couple of mice in her kitchen and she wanted to keep him!

Thanks for sharing. Alf's first episode! Sorry to ask (I know you're uploading a lot of episodes!), but I don't suppose you have episode 39 (26th April, 1961)? It's the only episode of the first 46 I've never seen.

26th April is the first I’m missing unfortunately. I could’ve sworn I had seen it in the past but for whatever reason I don’t seem to have a copy of it currently.

@kaiserwilhelmi6405 No worries, thanks. It was missing on the Internet Archive, before all their Corrie episodes got taken down. Do you know why some years seem to have a lot of episodes online and others hardly any? e.g. 1971 is on in full; yet there is virtually nothing of 1972.

@@davegordon2531 my best guess would be that the uploader did the same as me and just uploaded what they had managed to scrape together from the various different sources whether that be online or internally. They managed to fill in a few gaps for me before the internet archive went down. I do agree some years seem to be harder to find than others. I currently only have the full years of 70,71 & 73, the first half of 72 and a small handful of 74 & 75 eps. Obviously I’m no insider on this but I have a feeling at the rate pre-76 episodes have been resurfacing they will most likely appear online in the next few years through one source or another. A lot of these episodes have slowly been resurfacing since at least 2018 mostly from international archives who received copies for overseas transmission during the late 60s and early 70s.

@@reginaseelaIam Glad that you can see that sort of language for what it is and the world hasn’t gone completely mad. Unfortunately there is a certain individual who likes to leave nasty comments on this channel and would see that sort of language being shown as a reason to see this channel crash and burn on the grounds of “political correctness” and “the language not being edited out to suit modern sensibilities”.

No different than living in another country and being called a whinging Pom. Or the stereotype of the Englishman they only has a weekly shower.
