I used to watch 'Coronation Street' in the late 1980s on cable in the US. Mercifully,I'd never heard of Blanche before I watched this clip. I remember when Brian and Deirdre died.(Anne in real life). I cried both times.😢😢 Anne looks great in this clip with a modern hair cut and cool glasses! Glasses were horrendous in the 1980s.Everyone looked awful wearing them!

Dying abroad is a money pit for survivors. Last poisoned gift from that hideous shop that was Blanche. Most horrid character ever. No wonder Deirdre was so explosive with a nasty mother like that. Only most kind Ken could survive that mix.
