I like that he hasn’t had any storylines lately. I like him and he’s a great actor but the writers do love giving him horrible storylines and putting david through hell. I mean Kylie using drugs again and running away and Callum popping back in Max life, then having to cover up Callum’s murder, then kylie was murdered, then falling in love with Shona to find out she’s Claytons mum even though they’re still together, next thing David was raped and then within two years Shona got shot, was in a coma and then brain damaged and ray scammed them out of their own home. It’s nice to see the writers give the platt a bit of a break.

He not gotta soft. He just keeping his evil side locked up because of max, lily and Shona. If you remember he did unlock his evil side when Kyle die and when Shona lost her memory so at any moment he could unlock it again soon. The 2 things he did keep unlock was his funny side and his intelligence.

If Sam is so smart why wud he need a tutor for one of these tests. Aside from that the actor that plays sam is better than half the actors on the show at the moment.

You can still be smart and have a tutor. Sam is probably smarter than most kids his age but in a classroom the teacher has to stick with the curriculum and can’t challenge Sam, having a tutor allows him to be challenged with work and also just gives him a bit of extra help. Even the smartest kids at school might struggle to keep up sometimes or maybe struggle to revise or concentrate especially with things going on at home, like with Sam, he misses his dad so maybe it’s effecting his school work.

A lot of the skills assessed in grammar school entrance exams aren’t taught as part of primary school curriculum. You can still be smart and have a tutor, because the tutor helps you apply your intelligence to the specific things you’re going to be asked in the exam
