That was so intense to watch, I give credit to the acting in this storyline. It’s hard but I can say this I’m glad Steve brought up that the doctors and nurses have done everything they can to help little Oliver. I can only imagine the hospital felt bad and Leanne being cheeky and defensive didn’t help the situation any better. It’s one of those situations that you feel helpless, still it’s what’s best for Oliver.

Thank you. I lost my youngest sister to stage 4 cancer in January this year. For a long time, I was in denial and clutching at straws, even when my older sister gently tried to explain to me, that there was nothing more the doctors could do. She passed away peacefully, it was awful in the days leading up to it, she'd lost her eyesight, but she never lost her will to live. She leaves behind two little boys. She was 35 years old. We also shared the same birthday..

When Leanne cried (in court at least), I was half way to watery eyes. At the British Soap Awards 2021 this should definitely win storyline of the year or whatever it is - it has us that glued to the point where you can feel Leanne's great pain. Personally, Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor) should be brought back into Coronation Street - yes her and Leanne had one hell of a fall-out a few years ago over Steve's betrayal but she also knows what its like to lose a son (she had Ruairi who was dead). I think it would bring the 2 ladies closer together again. Poor Leanne and Steve 😫😥!
