@@christopherdrennan5819 I am actually learning this that there is a Corrie producer gets rid of Corrie characters so thats him. I liked the Platts and Websters as couples i was only a child of 9 or 10 then but not sure were adults bored or happy with Platts and Websters by this stage of the 90s. I also read Andy McDonald' screen time was purposely cut down by Corrie Producer

@@sashaking1111 I met Sean Wilson at a PA at a local nightclub in 1999. Bruce Jones, Les, was advertised as appearing but couldn’t make it so he was a last minute replacement. There was the opportunity for a quick chat, signed pic and photo opportunity. It was a bit hard to hear cos it was so noisy, but I said you and Helen work really well together (I was being all showbiz using first names like I knew them lol). He said thanks and it was like they’re really married. I thought well Helen’s lovely, but you wouldn’t wanna be married to Gail in real life cos most of the time she’s a right miserable cow lol 😂
