The first scrap 2004 is by far the best and most real! The rest are ok in comparison . Corrie Early naughties 2002-2004 era had such strong writing and characters. Definitely lacking today.

Todd didn't go to uni to be with Sarah, which made Eileen feel Sarah had ruined his life. Then Sarah left home, got pregnant and planned to marry Todd, which Gail hated. Then the whole gay thing tipped it over the edge and the first fight happened. But anyways after Sarah slept with Jason and Todd left, Eileen has really hated Sarah, and Gail always looks down on the Grimshaws as a whole. So there's been a beef between the two since then

Nick is a mummy’s boy who gail always put on a pedestal. Sarah was obviously the same because she was her only daughter. David was always neglected from a child and even though none of his past actions are excusable, she never really cared for him properly in his younger years
