Nikki Barrett it happened too two young women one of two kids the other of 5 where I live the young lady with 2 had fought cancer as a teen she had felt unwell for a little while and went to the doctors after waiting weeks to see one and was sent for bloods done she was kept in and died 3 weeks later the other with 5 had pains in one leg in her thigh she thought it was broken for months she was back and forwards to the doctors she couldn’t walk on her leg she was later admitted to hospital for further test and was told she has cancer in all her lymph nodes she died a month later she never left hospital when you sit and think about it we should consider ourselves lucky to get to old age

Perhaps the only character who could deliver such an eloquent, succinct and definitive monologue. Beautifully put, capturing such a bleak moment, will surely go down as one of Corrie's greatest ever monologues ! This speech really hits home and resonates with how many face this everyday, great from Corrie !
