I agree, Max has caused so much trouble and hurt a lot of people the last few months, it's about time he got a taste of his own medicine. Nothing excuses what those boys did to him, but in the long run this might actually make Max a better person because now he knows what it feels like to be tricked and humiliated. Perhaps now he won't be so quick to torment other people. And for those people dissing Shona, in my opinion Max is lucky she didn't skin him alive right there in the street. Accident or not, she has blood all over her face and still all he cares about is his own problems, he really needs to work on putting other people first for a change

And let's face it, people who live on this street aren't exactly good at 'not getting involved' are they? If she hadn't chipped someone else would have, and odds are that other person would have been far less understanding after getting a bloody nose

Exactly! And now that Shona has seen them, they are officially fucked if they make a move. Good start on the fair account but now they’ve gotten sloppy and don’t even realise it.
