Anyone else finding it rather difficult to feel any sympathy towards 'Lady' Victoria in the McDonald conspiracy court case? Looking back at mid-1995, Steve wasn't really showing any keen interest in her, but she was determined to 'get him': to show Fiona, as well as Bet and Alec, that she was top dog: The Winner. She got more than she bargained for.

3:25:00 onward... really great dialogue.. The young girl can only say "I don't mind" numerous times... I can't even be bothered to count. Is this where Corrie starts going downhill? sorry folks... but I'm trapped in my home, struggling to find anything interesting, I'm unvaxxed therefore a threat to society and confined to my home... I have not had a TV for decades, just t'internet, so am very glad that @EveHenleySpread has posted ALL these for me to catch up... well done you. :)

If we're comparing a soap storyline to real life IMHO they were both too young - Vicky lost her parents and should never have been handed all that money at 18 or got married so young. And no one, I mean no one, deserves a father like Jim McDonald.

@@SuzyQ334r even if the money was handed at 18, there should have been some financial counciling. £250k especially back then in Manchester would have bought her a lot of houses she could have rented out for extra income. I mean an average terrace was £30k, detached £70k and a semi £45k.

By the 1990s there are some seriously tedious storylines that dragged on way too long and made even massive fans hit the ff-button. Sorry, but the Steve & Vicky saga was one for me - plus any scene involving anyone with the last name McDonald.

"it's only a prison visit - no big deal" - really? I went through the so-called "care" system in the UK after being born into the family from hell. Now in my 60s, I know no one who has ever been in jail and the only jail I've ever visited was Alcatraz in San Francisco which was a lot of fun. I think 1996 was when Corrie's scriptwriters/producers started losing the plot.

Come to think of it, training in jail might be good for Steve cos he'd suit being a wealthy older man's toyboy. With his make up and drippy ways. But I like him, feel sorry for him, it's not his fault that he's been given this creepy, horrendous, personality. And why has his mum suddenly taken his side, out of the blue? Crazy Macdonalds? My conclusion. Even Andy isn't exactly steady. Jumping around from jobs and Uni. Thinking he can bed a decent young woman before wedlock. Etc
