Coronation Street - Peter and Tracy Discover Daniel is Ken's Attacker (5th June 2017)

Ken arrives at Number 1 with Adam who had been released. Peter and Tracy left furious at Adam, thinking he attacks Ken until Daniel come clean which left Peter and Tracy shock and furious at Daniel. Peter, Tracy and Adam confront Daniel and blame him for them getting locked up. Daniel and Ken tells Adam, Tracy and Peter what happened on that night when Daniel attacks Ken. Ken explain everything and begged the three to forgive Daniel. Will they forgive Daniel for what they done?

Daniel should have been locked up sooner as he doesn't learn from his mistakes, including the fact he pushed another person down the stairs, Max Turner. I hope Daniel rots in jail for a long time this time. As for Ken Barlow, he should be lucky he didn't get sued for False Arrest and forced to read the Book of Matthew's "JUDGE NOT LEST NOT YE BE JUDGED" part as a result of sending his own Grandson to jail for a crime he didn't commit.

Sab Cayen it is I noticed that it was a storyline they’d done before (I couldn’t remember what characters was involved thanks for reminding me.) and thought “really did you find an old set of scripts and forgot that you’d already used them?” Even a lot of the dialogue was similar!

@a person I’m not the one who said it didn’t make sense. I explained to the original comment which is the one who said that it doesn’t make sense. I just pointed out that it reminded me that they’d done it before but couldn’t remember what character’s was involved until someone else said David. I know that they reuse storylines but in this case it seems like they also used the original script and just changed the character’s, made it a who done it? and a few lines of dialogue. Because it was practically word for word and most of the time scene for scene from the original David, Tina and Gail storyline. Which is why I wrote about them finding an old script and using it instead of writing a new one.

@a person as someone who works in the business in California no it’s not okay to reuse a script word for word, scene for scene. That includes reboots it’s frowned upon and people don’t like it. It’s also plagiarism because the writers of this storyline wasn’t the original writers for the David storyline. They didn’t give the correct credit. In fact they didn’t give credit to the original writers at all which everyone called them out on at the time. You might think it’s okay, but believe it’s not. And I’m sorry sweetie but you came at me for a comment I didn’t write, which I’m still confused about! You want to have a conversation about what you deem okay and what’s not then I suggest you tag the correct person (i.e. the original person who wrote the original comment.) and take it up with them. When you’re older and more wiser of the world you’ll see that what they did wasn’t okay no matter how much of rut/hole/pressure the writers was under. Reusing a storyline is fine, blatantly stealing another writers work and passing it off as your own is not! Now I’m going to bed now as it’s almost 5am here and I’ve been working all night as well as looking after one of my six year old twins who’s sick. I won’t be replying to you again so please don’t bother replying back because I’ll just block you.
