Leanne is literally the only innocent in this mess and Eva to an extent, th Barlows are no saints, Ken raised his children horribly just look at how Tracy and Peter turned out and also didn’t Tracy try to actually SELL his granddaughter to the Croppers years ago, and as for the Connors, I only respect Carla as she has worked hard to get to where she is and has been through hell and back, but the rest of them were all factors as to why Aiden committed suicide, Aiden had an affair yes, but so did Kate and where’s Jonny’s outrage over that he always treated Kate better than Aiden and Jenny never liked Aiden and as for Michelle is just vile and is a lousy mother, Eva was in a mess because the man she loved cheated on her while she was pregnant that can’t be easy I don’t condone what she’s done but I certain understand her more

Toyah pretended to surrogate Eva's child, but Peter discovered the truth and broke up with Toyah. Simon, seeing his dad distraught, wanted to get away from Eva and Toyah, which meant having to sacrifice is mum Leanne. Ken is Peter's dad so of course he would defend him.

I think Ken was also annoyed at Peter about that as well as I remember there was a scene where Peter was running into Ken’s house panicking and crying and he told Ken what happened and I think Ken was shocked but then he also got cross at Peter. I think that’s what happened but I’m not 100% sure
