Interestingly that some areas which were greatly affected by SARS 2003 like Vietnam , Singapore are showing low rates of corona viral infections. So there may be something to this ???? Is it possible to use recombination of the antibodies to SARS 1 and use it as a vaccine to sars2 ???

Isn't it amazing how much this sort of information is being suppressed in the mainstream media and even when they give any mention of it the immediate follow up to it is some comment about how it's too early to draw any conclusions and more research needs to be done. This is why the tv news is not believed snymore. It's as if recovered patients serve no group's particular agenda so you are given no consideration at all. You might after all choose not to get a vaccination or vote a certain way or buy lots of disinfecting products. Sources like Dr. Campbell and a few others that I follow are the only way we can get anything valid related to any real research going on.

This is very interesting and encouraging. This feels like the long awaited light at the end of the tunnel. Also the more of your videoes I watch the more I start to understand why my whole life my immune system seems to be stronger than most people around me. Like the possible cross immunity from being exposed to animal pathogens for example. I grew up with all kinds of animals, dogs, cats, cows, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens. And my whole adult life I've had and still have pets, mostly dogs but also cats. I've also always loved being outdoors ( vit D ), I have a normal BMI and have always had a very good sense of public hygene. It is a bit ironic that I still managed to become severly chronically ill though, especially since it got triggered by a vaccine ( the swineflu vaccine winter 2009-2010 ) and ever since, eventhough I don't get any sicker from infections than I used to when I was healthy, every single infection aggravates my chronic condition, and every time my chronic condition gets worse, it's permanent. So I am still totally paranoid about the current pandemic. Especially since I can hardly fuction anymore, I simply cannot take risks because I might end up completley bedridden eventually. But for now I'm just happy that we finally get some good news, elated even. I really needed some good news!

Wow, that's interesting, so good to hear this! Strangely enough, about 32 years ago I went for a blood test and was told I was immune to what I was tested for and as the doctor put it 'Loads of other things as well, that you'll never come into contact with'. Makes you wonder. I've also been around dogs all my life one way and another (63 now). Sadly though, I do seem to be very susceptible to the common cold! Keep up the excellent work, Dr. Campbell!

Hills- look up salt water nose washing on you tube and google. I have been washing my nose with warm salt water since 1995 and have had only 3-4 colds since. I used to get 3-4 colds EACH YEAR prior to nose washing.

I have no experience in statistics but just a thought: All dogs over 8 weeks old in the uk are microchipped with address of their owners. The Government have all of these records. The ONS has records of all Covid deaths including the persons address. So the addresses of each covid death + the address of every dog in the uk is known. If indeed BetaCV exposure from dogs is a factor in CV19 immunity, one might expect cross referencing death addresses to dog addresses to show a disproportionate correlation between deaths + households not owning dogs, relative to the proportion of dog owning households. I'm sure I've over simplified things, thank you for such informative videos.

Matt Lambert vets / local councils / hospitals would also know if single occupancy households with a dog (or any dependant animal) have had the owner admitted to hospital with covid-19. Could always ask on the .gov website, under freedom of information ? Or ONS under freedom of information?

For sure, even if a dog has had it does not mean owner has caught it. 50% of deaths also in care homes ie not domestic settings. Lots of variables. Its far from perfect but with such a huge sample of people some statistical advantage to owning a dog may show.

I can't wrap my head around the absurdity, but I do know one thing of a silver lining: it is that there is an endpoint to this crisis, and the world simply won't hold up to cater the people who refuse to change. Also Oxford's vaccine candidate and additional research into beta interferon are showing quite a promising outlook, so there's that. Only other issue is that a vaccine's as good as the people who elect to take it. I'd say a statewide vaccination law should be mandated. Don't wanna get vaccinated? Go live in Florida, Texas- wherever.

I just watched a video about a Spanish Doctor (I believe) It was saying she tracked about 100 patients and noticed the ones that remained asymptomatic or had mild disease owned a cat or other animals. It sounded farfetched until you also mentioned it. How the animals have some coronavirus that we have developed immunity to. Thank-you for adding to that.

I think they need to find out exactly why the "control" group also had the reactive T cells even though they never had SARS. Edited: It would be nice if there was a way to test everyone for these T cells, to find out beforehand who is already immune, and find out who can go back to living a normal life.

The July surge of COVIDs in California is ravaging the rural areas and the farm workers (the Latino communities), so I suspect your optimism about reduced infectivity rates in rural areas is a bit premature. More likely what we have seen is due to differences in population densities couple with the facts that the generally poorer Latino community live in multi-generational families (grand parent, parents & children under the same roof), under more squalid conditions, with migrant farm workers housed in over crowded bunkhouses and generally dependent in shared transport to and from the fields. Couple this with poor Spanish language public service & educational broadcasts about SARS-Cov2 and the geneal lack of healthcare for migrant workers, there is no wonder why Covids is spreading so fast through the Imperial Valley, Salinas Valley and Central Valley of California in a mostly South to North direction of advance.
