Personally the skeleton arm and leg look really out of place, she could had just painted her arm and leg black then painted the a skeleton arm and leg. It would give a much better effect

I would've liked it a bit more if they added the iconic Tim Burton eyes, if her lips were more pink, and her hair was a bit nappier. Other than that it's pretty accurate and beautiful!

How did you manage to get the lace perfectly on the corset without making any darts? I’m using the same corset and trying to pin the fabric on first, and I can’t get it straight without doing darts

I cut slits along the edges of the fabric and trimmed some shorter as I went along. It worked perfectly considering the lace just blends.

Great job! It IS expsnie to make accurate CosPlay outfits. Wether or not you use already made items in order to alter then. I have tried to find an inexpenstive skeleton to alter for the Corpse Bride costume for my granddaughter. No such luck. I work with ostly re-purposed itmes. It is all in good fun! And it is intensive work for yourself or anyone else you are building for. And STOP with the nasty comments about body-size with human beings and corpses. Real people are NOT drawings. This was FUN! Thanks for making and posting!

I'm a little behind the times on this one, dang video didn't show up in my feed. >.> That said, I love it! This one looks like it took a lot of detail work with all the cutting and gluing. I'm a dude, so I doubt I'd be making a dress...but WERE I to work on something like this I'd probably get fed up with it pretty quickly, just saying. So props for putting all that effort into it and keeping a smile on your face the whole time! I'm also really surprised/impressed with how you chose to handle her skeletal parts. I figured you'd take the classic route of a black sleeve/legging with the bone painted/detailed onto it to give the illusion of it being yours and retaining mobility and posturing...but I think this technique gave it a lot more unique of a feel, and did a lot for the build. Again, huge props for going through the irritation of contorting your arm behind yourself for all the action shots...the posing had to have been uncomfortable and a pain in the butt. So...thanks for putting yourself through all that for our benefit. :) Great build! I think there are a couple more I've missed (I saw a Team Rocket video as well as Garona's Armor currently sitting off to the side on my Recommended right now, so I'm gonna go do some catching up. Stay awesome!

just a couple of suggestions/thoughts I had 1.hot glue could work to your advantage as the strings it leaves look like webs, 2.instead of hiding your arm you could put the fake bones on a black sleeve to mimic that look (not saying dont do this because it looks great,but this idea could make your live easier at a con)

Another to achieve the look of having a skeletal arm would be to look at reference pictures of a skeletal arm and replicate it onto your actual arm. Just an idea.
