That looked challenging and not helped by becoming wet. So many pinnacles to negotiate and in the mist so hard to be sure you reached the Lord Berkeley’s Seat. As I watched I kept thinking surely this is Lord Berkley’s Seat and then another pinnacle appeared. Well done to you. Quite a gripping video to watch!

Thanks for this great video Damon. Its been over 30 years since I did this scramble in reverse, a long day from Glas Mheall Liath round to Sail Liath. Descending the prow of the Corrag Bhuide buttress to the bealach seemed tricky so we retraced our steps along the ridge and dropped down to one of the lower paths on the Fisherfield side - that descent was very thin in places but probably a wise move. South to North must be the best way to scramble but the views in the opposite direction were fabulous.

An Teallach is next on my list..been on it for over 40 years...I live in England but on holidays have climbed Stac Pollaidh, the Cuillin Ridge, Liatach, Forcan ridge, Aonach Eagach, Suilven, Five Sisters etc. The exposure looks awesome ..and, in the mist, vital to watch your step! Would you recommend a clockwise or anticlockwise traverse? I'm thinking the ascent of the Bad Step would be safer than a descent !

Love An Teallach, always a big day out. I've always done it clockwise with the long walk in first.

The most I was able to do was Liathach and thread the needle at the Cobbler... and I shit myself on both occasions

aiming to do this next week. would you think taking a harness or throw a sling/piece of rope around yourself and use a few climbing wires/nuts would be a good idea?
