Correct canter leads: How do I help my green horse?

How do you get a green horse to canter? How do I get my horse to canter on the correct lead? Why is my horse picking up the wrong canter lead? Young horses need fewer rules. Make sure you are keeping it simple and making it easy for the horse to get the right answer.
