those expensive Red Sea setups come with a simple gravity float valve and a reservoir that sits above the sump. Even thou I don't have a Red Sea system ,I use the same system, cheap and reliable as gravity, only thing is you need a sump and a reservoir that sits higher

It is, but once the tank is topped off to the right level, then it shuts down. One thing I probably didn't mention is shutting off the auto top off it's like rebooting the mini computers that are in them.
