It is not required to strain the fertilizer if you're giving this using mug or jug. But you use watering can with sprinkler cap, then it's better to strain it, as the dust in the solution can clog or block its tiny holes.

Sure! But the mustard cake is the remnant or leftover product after extracting mustard oil from the seeds. I can make a video on how people commercially make those in oil mills using large machineries. But making them at home is difficult!

I did mention. Mix 500 gm of mustard cake in 10 lit (9 lit water+1 lit rice water), then after fermentation, mix 1 litre of that solution with again 10 lit of water.
