To delete a website and its associated domain in Cloudflare, follow these steps:
Log in to your Cloudflare account.
Select the website you want to delete.
Go to the "Overview" tab.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Delete Website" button.
Confirm the deletion by entering the domain name and clicking on the "Delete" button.
Note: Before following above steps, make sure to point your Nameservers to hosting Name servers as shown in the video.

hi, i just deleted the cloudflare dns before i changed the nameserver on my godaddy account. If i changed it after i delete, can i get my website back?

Sorry, I didn't understand your question. Is your hosting service provider is different then your domain registrar?

I did this and still got a 1001 error that took the site down for days. I deleted the CF site on the dashboard 12 days after removing the CF nameservers of the Godaddy registrar and moved all A records etc to Godaddy. CF still was able to affect the site 12 days after - their support is non existent and it took ages to determine that I had to add the site back on CF and swithc off the proxed server toggle

Error 1001: DNS resolution error A web request was sent to a Cloudflare IP address for a non-existent Cloudflare domain. The target of the DNS CNAME record does not resolve. A CNAME record in your Cloudflare DNS app requires resolution via a DNS provider that is currently offline.

Basically, you need to go to your hosting C-Panel and restore the CNAME to hosting default and remove any exisitng Clouflare CNAME settings you have added in the beginning.
