This was certainly fun to watch while loading, but also makes the process hopelessly inefficient. The game can only load into memory during the short gaps while nothing is updating on screen, so without this loader it could probably be done in under 2 minutes!

You're completely right, plus the game is completely naff. The intro is much better than the game. Also I seem to recall that on certain ZX configurations the intro won't load...

Also it seems like they devoted 90% of the development time to the loader / intro, and the game is quite bland.

I loaded it on a ZX Spectrum +2A (Black)

Hi, just replying a little bit later than expected (because I've reloaded this game recently), you HAVE to load it in 48K mode, or else this funky intro won't show up. I think that on the +2A (black) and the +3 you have to go to ZX 128K BASIC, enter "usr0" (zero), and then LOAD" " Promise to not take another 8 years to reply.
