Maggie, everyone makes a mistake now and again. You are very brave and kind to let us know what went wrong, lol. I love the fact that you don't edit because it lets us see the real way things get done. Showing us how to use different tools, techniques, and generally to use what we have, is very helpful, especially to those who have limited supplies and space. Personally, I really love the torn circles. It really adds to the grungy look Thanks again Maggie for all you do for all of us. Yay Maggie!!!! Many blessings to you and yours.

Hi Maggie. You don’t need to apologize. We all make mistakes. I’ve heard many people say, “It’s only paper” and that is the truth! I love the torn edges in the new book. A great alternative! Just keep on bringing us great videos. I appreciate that you try stuff out right on camera and, for me, make me realize that it’s how you figure stuff out. You are so brave about trying new things. I’m more hesitant, but with your videos am learning to just go for it. Your stuff is so amazing and one little mistake is nothing to worry about. I love your persistence in figuring things out ( the little sewing machine comes to mind). I would probably give up if I even bothered to try it. Thank you for giving us so much information and inspiration. 🩷
@maryjanew2011 ай бұрын
Maggie no need to apologize, we all make mistakes. By the way, if anyone is having trouble cutting circles, why not make the openings square or rectangular? So much easier to measure and cut. You can still achieve a very nice tunnel book.

No worries- it's just paper! I do like the torn look, too. It inspires me to do a bird theme book, maybe cuz it looks like a nest from the top view. I like putting a back page on, rather than leaving it open, but I'm thinking it's an opportunity to use a transparency on the back.

But next time and there will be a next times of mistakes it's our human nature... don't beat yourself up! Hey, Maggie. Thanks for making such a quick correction video. I noticed you didn’t do a final flip through, but if you had, you would’ve caught the error and then been frustrated and have to do the whole video all over again, or at least the binding part, ha ha. I totally understand your unsettled feeling. I’m a writer and an editor, and guess how I feel when a book goes to print with typos? Yeah! It happens to the best of us. So, no worries. We all love your ceations. You do amazing work. Thanks so much for sharing it with us each week. You inspire us. Have a cup of tea, settle your stomach, and have a fab weekend. Besides, what’s a little extra glue between friends? Take care.❤😊📖

Please don’t feel bad. We all make mistakes. I like the torn circle edge idea! Awesome. I did check my circle die sets and they could be used also although you may have to start out with a larger piece of paper in order to stagger them to get 3-4 openings. The infinity dies would probably be best because those usually come with many dies and it would be easy to stagger them. I have 2 chipboard arch tunnel books by Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts that I’ve never done. I checked their website and it doesn’t look like they have them anymore. They have more space around the arch openings and the first opening starts out small. I did notice that they also have a solid back cover page, no hole which would look nice. I suppose one could cover the last opening with paper. It wouldn’t have to be put into the accordion fold piece. I hope I’m making sense. I think your tunnel book is super cute and you are so gracious to share your talent. You are much appreciated Maggie! ❤
