In this video, I go through the process of getting a corrective relaxer! Fixing Under Processed Relaxed Hair. I used my Optimum Relaxer in Regular. My last relaxer was Jan 25, 2022, I was about 3 1/2 months post relaxer in this video and my next relaxer is projected to be sometime in October!

You might have to take the comb through it next..also I had wondered if I could use my bare hands to feel the new growth better while apply the relaxer to it. I see you obviously did! 🫢

@@BusyDoingMe Hi I did it. I did the corrective relaxer and nothing happened like nothing at all. I think it was the texturizer I was using which is African pride texture softener. When is it safe to try again? I am suffering with the different textures its like I have 6 months of new growth spread out all through my hair strands

@@CierraHutcherson Yes it actually did and the hair looked good. I didn't leave the relaxer in for long and made sure I coated the relaxed hair thoroughly in petroleum jelly

@@BusyDoingMe there's still nothing wrong with extra protection. Wear gloves and save yourself. Prevention is better than cure

No you need to wait at least 6 weeks

I got a relaxer I waited about 6 weeks and did a corrective relaxer which still didn't take I basically have a loose Curl fro I think it's the brand of relaxer I used. I'm once again about 8 weeks out Could I do another corrective relaxer or not?? if yes how long should I wait?? I will being trying a new brand of relaxer this time thanks
