hi, thank you for grate video Please Can you tell me what lishi model suits this type of ASSA 7 pin lock?
@ratatosk25155 жыл бұрын
I have the exact same lock its one of my latest projects. But haven`t been able to pick it cause the pins fall down, no matter what. Browsing Y-T for assa-picking tips I found this video. I knew about float-picking (and I probably should already have tried this) but Thanks for posting the video. It has given me new motivation (My lock is a used one its full of gunk but I havent cleaned it up. I dont know if this makes it easier or worse. But I wanted to have it "authentic" in a way. The wafers on your lock, changes the keypins I see. Its 5 torpedo`s and 2 standard`s in mine)

Yeah, he didn't want me to link directly to the spreadsheet, and instead just give people his Discord info. The LPU discord can be found here: discord.gg/guq4D2Z

Maby i didn’t understand you fully, but you don’t have two (or more) pins/cheese’s in the top part of the cylinder because ”it would mangel the spring”. You have those because You have different access on the keys. When You have a ”system” as we call it here in Sweden, You have different access. Take a school for exampel. Cleaners keys goes too cleaning areas, maby not computer storage and server rooms(?). teachers keys goes to class rooms and their Office. Then You have the master key (amongs many other key’s) and that master key goes to every cylinder in the ”system”. That’s why one cylinder can have like 10 cheese’s (the little thin plate you scootsh aside as if it was meaningless). /Swedish examind locksmith

Yes, that's called masterkeying in English.
