Excellent, thank you. This is a pet peeve of mine, throwing the tying end of the halter over the head and slapping the horse on the cheek. Why would a horse stand still for that? It’s a wonder they tolerate us!

Teach him to put his head down. Put the lead rope over his neck at his pole and teach him to give to it.
