is it a good movie? i hesitated after the release, like christopher robin (which turned out amazing, i thought) but totally forgot about this movie till they mentioned it. It does look really beautiful though to watch though

@@MinorKey135 I've seen their extended episodes and they don't really talk about other scenes except for graphic ones that they can't show. They just go into more detail about the VFX

I love how they breakdown all the technological terms into layman's terms for us who love to see how visual effects work but don't have much knowledge of the technical side. Also I'd love to see a breakdown of the monster effects from season 2 of the witcher

Yes! When I saw Paddington on the thumbnail I was like "meh", but Josée was so interesting! My favorites episodes are always those where the guests give a lot of hindsight and she totally nailed it.

I think that this is my favorite episode of the series by far since it's not like the big hero action shots that always are talked about with VFX, but it's stuff like this and what the work Josée does that make movies actually feel real

This was a great episode. I love the more in-depth look at the techniques, but also appreciated when Joseé was talking about how she combined various techniques to achieve the final result. A lot of episodes have been made it seem like you only needed one technique or system to create the final result, where in reality you improvise and combine techniques meant for somethimg different to create something new.

This was my favorite episode so far because most of the time its mind blowing and that's cool but sometimes a little over the top. This episode was very grounded and humble and lighthearted (NOT saying the other episodes don't share this sentiment, but it was conversation of technical and artistic application whereas other episodes are more master teaching an apprentice). Because of this it's much more of a give and take, not just an absorption of techniques unheard of before.
