I speak as a person whose had the rather " unsavoury " experience of being wrongly convicted and jailed. It was obviously not the finest time of my life. I was only in Strangeways prison a matter of two weeks or less when the infamous riot erupted. I was then transferred to Winston Green jail, in Birmingham, then to Staffordshire prison to complete my two year sentence, all for a crime I did not even commit. It was my cowardly older brother, Tony, who actually committed the offence, and I was Convicted and jailed for something he'd done. After my release, my alcohol intake greatly increased and I soon became an alcoholic and could not find any work, due to my criminal conviction. My point Is not everyone in prison is guilty, as this storyline shows.

Wow it's so true I always believe that you never ever know what has happened if you weren't there. I felt sorry for Peter in this storyline he truly had done nothing apart form being gullible and have an affair
