When Max was a kid and Kylie was alive (when they weren't on the rocks that was) Now David's with scruffy Shona (her who's son killed his first wife Kylie leaving him a young widowed single dad) and Max is turning/has turned into a replica of both his criminal dad Callum and his step dad who is (quite simply) David Platt😂😂 The Callum in Max is basically his lack of remorse and shame for what he does and lack of respect for people, the David in him is probably his occasional display of remorse and emotion (which isn't much) but he does sometimes show it so I suppose that's the David and Kylie bit of him?? The rest is Callum with little bits of David thrown in!!

Pure contrivance. David had adopted Max before Callum showed up and couldn’t have done that without his consent if he was named as the father, unless a court determined that it could go ahead without his say so. That clearly didn’t apply given what came later. They should have written it as Callum not being on the cert, demanding a DNA test to assert his rights as it had all been done without him being given a chance or even informed of it. Still a battle for David in Kylie’s absence but more realistic than what we saw.
