as someone who plays corrin, i do think their juggling and air control is what makes them so great. a good corrin could jump and catch a g&w up-b with something like fair or even upair and discourage spam / traditional g&w gameplay, their attacks hit through a steve wall placed too close to the ledge, and like you said, their air control makes it far more difficult for a sonic to get in when going in with a spindash. as someone who plays sonic, the solution is generally just to do what you normally do but worse. get your confirms and then get out of range; challenging anything safe in the air is just gonna get you hurt and then you get sniped with an f-smash. so just bide your time and keep wearing away. as someone who plays jigglypuff, my personal favorite solution to these three S+ characters is managing to land consecutive rest reads often enough to visibly upset the opponent because they picked obnoxious characters. plus, horizontal aerial drift combined with lingering hitboxes makes it pretty likely to trade

Great video, I absolutely love corrin and I’m so happy she’s relevant again. Shadic and neo are the main reason as of late I can still watch some tournaments. Before they started doing well I hadn’t watched anything in months

i'd add Kazuya to the "Steven, Sonic and Game&watch" list. No one is getting results with him because they just arne't better than the other top players but Kazuya absolutely is on that list if someone equivalent piloted him

oh for sure, recently fought the best kazuya in my city and it was such a huge jump from elite smash kazuyas or matchbox kazuyas to someone who actually knows how to torture people with him. i have kazuya ptsd now

he's really good but he also has the normal weaknesses of a heavy (his disadvantage is garbo) so it balances out a tiny bit Also a lot of ppl enjoy watching him

Everyone: "Corrin... is top tier?!?!" Corrin: *"Always has been, rawr!"* 🔫 😊 Jokes aside, I find it silly how people don't want to say Corrin is at least top 25 at this point. She has better results than freaking Aegis, and it's not just one representative of the character getting those results. Shadic, Neo, Ly, MKLeo, and Sparg0 all did something ridiculous with the character. In other big tournaments, I'm starting to see her pop up more often in top 32s thanks to players I never knew about. Corrin is the new Cloud.

I love how most top tiers are fighters with insane movements, get off me options, or just “hey want a ride to the top left/right blast zone?” And the rest can’t do much to counter them but that hasn’t stop low tiers randomly popping off against a top teir😊

It's because these so called "low tiers" aren't really low tiers. Just because they didn't do good back then in tournaments doesn't mean they are bad forever. These "pro players" just like to make their own tier list so the sheep spread their bs and deem a character low tier. Just look at people dickriding Shulk as this top 2 character, then he is top 10 but he is always top tier. When was the last time you saw Shulk toping any tournament let alone win a major? never. The same goes for Pikachu, these characters are not top, they look more like high tiers when properly used. The problem with smash is that EVERYONE is top tier these days. There is a WHOLE world of difference between Sonic/Steve to the rest of the roster. These two characters got it all basically. Then you have really good characters like Aegis, game and watch and so on, but none of these seem top tier tbh.

I was surprised you didn't even mentioned FS Dair for Corrin in GNW MU. Cause that tech is probably the biggest reason why SHADIC beat Miya. Also Nair beat out Bacon is also huge. Nair in general is just such an anti meta move. Beat bacon, Spindash and even minecart. Also Sparg0 picking up Corrin for Kazuya MU as well. He hasn't use it offline cause he hasn't fought Riddles. The last time they meet at Coinbox Sparg0 goes Corrin. And recently in Riddles Kazuya MU chart. He think Kazuya lose to Corrin.
