Goes through appeals, ends in 3-3 tie in the Supreme Court, remains in effect. 3. Confirm 3 new Senior Justices. 4. Expand court to 8 allowing President to appoint any Senior Justice to justice, President appoints his 2 Senior Justices. 5. Confirm 2 more Senior Justices. *6. The carrot* - introduce an amendment establishing court at 9 justices, minimum 6 senior justices and min 3 senior justices from each of the 2 largest parties, retiring judges become senior justices, term limits, ethics laws, forced recusal process (recused selects a senior justice to fill his seat), seats split between the 2 largest parties, openings are filled by the party with the smallest number, if the party doesn't hold the Presidency they can be nominated by their Senior member of the Senate, President or Senior member can temporarily elevate a Senior Justice without a vote. 7a. If passed, Senate get to nominate/appoint Justices in some situations, GOP immediately gets 1 more justice, and gets the next Dem opening from retirement. 7b. If Senate doesn't pass, Dems keep 5-3 advantage, send the amendment to the states to approve

A comment from Australia. It seems that the US justice system has been so tainted and abused by political appointments that it is time to re-evaluate how Supreme Court justices are selected. There should be a stipulations that supreme court judges have to have served at least ten years in lower courts (experience) and pass an exam set by independent legal and constitutional scholars (competence and knowledge). Supreme Court justices should be selected on merit and there has to be an end to Presidents picking their men and women. A crazy system that is in urgent need of repairing (along with the corrupt gerrymandered electoral college.).

Start with Congress needs to subpoena alito, investigate, put the pressure on for him to recuse himself at least from any j6 rulings and definitely Trump's immunity ruling. Investigative reporters need to get out there to follow up. Expand the supreme Court. Submit a judicial misconduct complaint with the US courts. Vote blue
