The Corrupted Woodsmith requires you to destroy the Village Heart in the center of the arena in order to deal damage to her. Once the heart is totally broken, the boss becomes way more aggressive and begins dual-wielding with a hammer and sword. Parry if you feel comfortable, otherwise get some pot shots with arrows and bombs until she drops!

@@isabellam1936 I was playing on normal mode and after 10 tries I said screw it and switched to story mode. Beat her on the first try in maybe 1.5 minutes without taking any damage. You may want to double check that you actually are on story mode because it is so much easier.

I beat 1 first bosses (Taro Mission) without changing difficulty. And then the game tuns into impossible bosses fight 😂.

I've finished this game a couple days ago. No, it's not for just casual gamer, a veteran gamer or competitive player like me who play Nioh, Darksiders 3 and other games, I can confirm some of the bosses here are almost impossible to beat, even on normal mode (Spirit Guide). I change the difficulty several time for certain bosses 🤭.

thx for this i was getting really frustrated with this fight as i didnt know about hitting the heart 3 times when exposed edit: in regards to the focus point u need to throw a bomb at him and explode it then he goes into a slightly leaning backwards position with it exposed and a well placed arrow gives a nice explosion, also the bomb/explode combo stuns him for a few seconds each time

Thanks for the video. I’ve had the game since it came out and I’ve yet to beat it. The boss fights are something terrible but rewarding. I get stuck on a boss for a couple of hours and come back a month or two later. I just spent 2 hours on this chick and I almost through my controller threw my wall. I’m done for at least a month. 🤣

during phase 2 you can do a lot of damage by sticking her with a bomb which pops out her crit point. hit that 3 times for a big chunk of damage.

Omg thank you. This guy makes it look at easy but I suck at parrying and I can only seem to get half way damage until I die. Urgh. But I'm gonna try to not using my rot hammer in the beginning and I'll use the other attacks on it

This game was made impossible with the bullshit healing system. Having only two healing in a two phase boss fight, while also needing to fill a meter via hits to ACCESS healing is the stupidest shit I’ve ever experienced in a game.

I just finished this fight on Hard. I know what you're talking about but I feel like I was missing something in consistently triggering it though. Most of the time the grenade just auto explodes upon contact and right after that she'll just counter attack with the fiery disc thing.

Having just finished Dark Souls games and Elden Ring I can attest that this game (on Master) can be harder than FS games by miles. What made this fight even harder is that the game stutters a lot on my rig and for some reason it's worse on the lowest settings.

Nono the second section you reflect and reveal the weaknesses shoot it. The boomerang blade is the best for reflecting. She really draws back before using it. This staggers her and allows you to perform more damage but don’t over stay your welcome coz she does crazy damage as she gets up

Double jump to the left or right to dodge initial attack, jump slow-mo throw bomb, jump again slow-mo burst fire 3 arrows at crystal. Beat on him then he jumps opposite side, keep beating on him with light attacks and jump to dodge the pulses 3 times then repeat. When he goes into dual wield stage use bombs and just keep jumping with slow-mo fully charged arrows and burst his chest crystal and beat on him abit if you can. Took me awhile but I was able to get it done pretty easily once I got the rhyme right.

Also, make sure you have max health as possible by finding a meditation points and make sure you have the rot hamer ability. This boss made me quit the game several times. Currently seeking all meditation points and gonna give it another shot.

If you play this on a current gen system or PC...piece of cake. Good luck though if your at 30fps or less though. I don't understand why developers insist on making games more difficult depending on your fps. I was in love with this game until I tried my second playthrough on a base ps4. (Where my fps consistently dropped to at least Belo 20fps, and it became nearly impossible with all the freezing and lag)

Once at the second stage of this boss, throwing a bomb and shooting an arrow to explode the chest, makes the yellow gem pop out so that you can shoot it a do some damage.

Phase two if you hit the boss with your bombs a few times eventually if will stun it and expose the orange week point on the chest. Shoot that 3 times for huge damage and a stun phase

I didn't know I put the game on hard when I started it. This boss on hard is the hardest in the game. And yes it does have a heart you can hurt. In the 2nd half of the fight throw bombs to expose the heart.

Yooo ty!!! Figured out by accident that in second stage, throw a bomb at her enough to expose her core and shoot it (the orange crystal core) for a stun. Not sure about when to bomb, I got her when she was hammering in the middle.

I did it! Definitely doable. Just got to keep that anger in check and be laser focused cuz you will die “a lot.” Every decision you make will affect the overall outcome so it’s just a matter of getting the patterns down. I’m a soulsborn lover so I guess I like torturing myself though. No sense giving it a try if you’re not having fun doing it.

@@JJsiN84 yeah i did it shortly after i commented this haha. It was indeed pretty doable. The lavacircles kept hitting me a couple of times, which made the second stage of the fight really difficult. But after a bit of practice i managed to get to the second stage without getting hit, and i beat her straight away, first attempt. This is my first game ever in this type of genre, so im not that good at it, but i do definitely love the game. I really like the fact that i cant beat bosses within 3 tries. I really have to do it multiple times to figure out the best strategies. Its one of my favorite games ever so far

Had a glitch happen where I beat the boss but instead of going into the defeated position where I could sick the rots on it the boss basically T-Posed and locked me out of defeating it so I had to restart and beat it again

Stone guardian was kinda easy for me, once you kill the corrupt flower on its back you can deal a lot of damage in its stunned state. This boss was hard on normal for me!

This is where i stopped loving the game's fighting mechanics: you aren't rewarded for avoiding all the shit happening and destroying the crystal, since the stunned boss still takes chip damage even with a goddamn rot hammer. Game's unbalanced as heck between its bosses and the rest, including smaller bosses who actually feel like fair fights in normal

@@class7469 after about 15 tries on expert I found spirit guide to be pretty easy and beat it second try. It was surviving long enough to have enough courage to kill him and heal if you need to I found especially hard in that final phase.
