What I did was going to Yaesha and doing the Root Nexus "boss". The "boss" doesn't do anything, but it causes corrupted abberations to spawn after a few seconds of killing the last one. Got me the 10 shards each pretty fast.

One simple trick with the enemy at the beginning of the video you can run to him and he will explode very easy to get the shard

Minor correction: I had two aberrations spawn on me in Ironborough with just a few minors apart, no rest. EDIT 1: 3 in a row now. Doesn't seem like there is a limit to how many you can get at once. EDIT 2: I had some more time to do testing today. I found that difficulty actually makes a huge difference on whether or not the aberration will spawn at Burden of the Warlock POI. On Survivor difficulty had no spawns. Nightmare difficulty had spawns less than half of the time. Re-rolling Apocalypse nearly guaranteed the spawns again, even with a different map layout. I also tested Butcher's Quarter, and it does not seem to reliably spawn aberrations at the Burden of the Warlock POI. Even with nearly identical layouts and on Apocalypse difficulty. If you don't want to grind the same area over and over, it seems also perfectly viable to wander around a big map, like Ironborough, and you should naturally encounter aberrations (depending on your difficulty level).

Imperial gardens for me had best spawn so far so I just make full circle run by going right took me 5-10 minutes and in most cases I had 2 new aberrations spawn, and once I m near the small world stone on the left side (I don't activate it) I just jump in my doom rinse and repeat. BTW you CAN'T have more then 10 shards at one point while farming they wont drop so once you get 10 use them. On side note Meridian and aphelion are freaking awesome.

The weapons are permanently available, but the shards will be much harder to come by after today.

Problem with these games putting weapons behind these ridiculous luck wall is I already beat the game didn't know any of these weapons even existed never seen a corrupted weapon so we buy the game most of us to play it one time and move on and don't even get the best features of the game! Its hilarious

You can just farm for it …. It’s not necessary to beat the game

To be fair, I think the feature was added after the game came out. That said I would prefer some of the rng to be removed, alterable, or mitigated somehow.
