Noahs whole vibe for this video, consenting but not comfortable, was my entire mood everytime someone tried to do my make up, or my hair, or choose feminine clothes. I let someone do my entire makeup only twice, once for halloween when I was like 14 and once for a mascerade when I was 20. Both time I felt like I was dressing up and looking like a doll (in a bad way)/clown. I did try to learn a few times but I felt so nauseus by my own reflection that I stopped mid way and then didn't try it for years. I dressed femme on and off for almost a decade in early adulthood but never felt comfortable. I told myself I did it on my own terms, but no, it was societies terms. I've been watching Noah and Ty and Jamie and both of the Jacksons and some more people for several years now and in the beginning I was commenting with "Hi, I'm a cis woman", then I stopped commenting and now I have finally come to terms with the fact that I am in fact trans. If anyone is reading all of this comment that I am making two years after this video came out (I was actually too uncomfortable and dysphoric when it came out to watch it but didn't at the time fully realise why)... Hi, I am Caspian, I am a trans man. Maybe some day, when I have actually gotten my appointment at the gender clinic (I am on the waiting list) I will dare make videos like these wonderful men who I have been looking up to for so many years now. The main thing I am struggling with is that I just feel old. Not too old to make the journey, but too old to share about it. I love Jackson Bird and I started following him because he was an adult when he started transitioning, but I am so much older then he was when he started. I am really trying not to feel ashamed that it took so long. Self love and self forgiveness is hard you guys. Anyway, I wish anyone who is reading this a wonderful day. You are exceptional, remember that.
