haha, agreed man... but I also used Tuniq TX-4 paste. This paste is much thicker and harder to spread out during compression. That is why they give you the spreader. Thanks for watching though man! Subscribe.

I want this case, but I don't understand what to do with the top fan positions. If you install fans there in the exhaust position, isn't the glass in the way of the exhaust airflow? And there's a nice filter there, which incorporates the esthetic back curved portion. So that filter seems necessary to the design and indeed it seems it is REQUIRED in order to screw the top glass into place. And yet, if your fans are exhausing, isn't that filter majorly in the way? Filters should only be used on intakes, I believe. I guess you could actually just intake from the top, or not put any fans there at all, but it just seems counterintuitive. Thoughts?

You are right, the filter is there to hold the glass in - so no going around that. It would have been nice if they had a design where they would have that filter removable without hindering the proper fix of the glass. Not sure why they went with that route. Also, the case does not have any holes above the power supply to allow I/O from the motherboard to properly be routed. I tucked mine under the board (it was a bit difficult to set the board properly). But yeah techncially you wouldn't need the fan filter there if you had an exhaust setup. However, it still does prevent bugs and some dust from coming in naturally.

TheManTruffle I still prefer inwin 909 over this case, I need at least 4hhd in my system, this case limited to 2. and cheap material vs full aluminium, psu cover is another joke from this case. More is top radiator issue with high ddram 4 profile.

Hey man nice build! I'm wodering how the Corsair AIO cooler fits in the top of the case. Does it hit any ram, or motherboard cooling blocks? Is it an 1151 socket anyway? We didn't really see the end result :o

Good question. Since I have somewhat lower profile ram, there is a good amount of clearance. For higher profile ram, it may be cutting it close to be honest. I do wish Corsair increased the height of the case a bit to solve this "problem" - Thanks for watching!

How does the AIO fit on the top?

I'm also planning to buy this case.. The only thing stopping me is 1. open PSU shroud which shows all the cable. 2.No space b/w mobo and PSU shroud to route HD Audio cable. You dint show the inner cable management of the case. How do you feel about cable management of the case?

Hey man, very good points. I forgot to put the wire management pictures in. So here is the deal. 1. The open PSU is not so bad. The tempered glass is slight opaque. It is very difficult to see inside unless you are really looking for it. It doesn't bother me at all. 2. Corsair really screwed up with the lack of holes above the power supply. However, there is enough room under the motherboard so you can literally place the wires down flat, then screw the motherboard down over them. I have the wires coming out from the right side near my m.2 SSD. 3. Cable management on the back was fine. I may have a follow up video show it. But if you are decent at using zip-ties, you will be fine. Overall, the case is beautiful. Corsair definitely missed a few points and has a lot of room for improvement. One additional thing that I would have liked to see was 2 more USB ports on the top of the case + and HDMI out port. That would have been a smart idea. I believe they had to find points to cut cost due to the tempered glass being expensive. However, I would have paid a bit more to have the USB ports, non-plasic SSD trays, & a more thought out wire management solution. I give the case a 7/10 for internal build quality, 8/10 for wire management, 10/10 for looks. Case worth it the money? If you have the extra cash right now. Hell yeah. But just keep those points in mind. Thanks for watching Shyam.

hey I'm having issues with my lights for my fans I replaced the case fans with the HD120 from corsair but only 2 of my lights are on (all six fans are spinning). Also I did not see a cable for HDDLED does this not have it?

Hey man. No HDDLED cable.... for whatever reason. I have my gripes with this case for sure. I would try troubleshooting by switching the fans to different ports on your hub to see if the hub is going bad. Have you tried doing that yet? If so, maybe your hub is bad and corsair needs to send you a new part. Let me know how it goes.
