Corsair Actually came out with the Air540 case much sooner than the 680x. Corsair has always been ahead of their time as far as Duel Chamber Cases.

I was about to say the same. I still have the aur 540 and it's amazing case as the cooling is crazy good and easy to work on.

yeah, I'm still using corsair air 240 and wanna upgrade to 540 but seems 6500d got similiar setup without any glass panel infront of it

Damn, just picked up a 680x a few days ago to replace my original Air 540. This case looks great.

@@thinkcomputers1 I think the lack of a corner piece and no front fans on the 6500x make it too similar to other cases. The 6500D looks much more like a proper spiritual successor.

This is a much larger case and does support more fans and back-connect motherboards. So honestly depends on the type of system you are building

It's available in white and black but for some reason all reviews I've seen are for the white. What's up with that?

Hello ,im looking to buy that case ,it looks so daaamm fineee ! Where would it the best spot for a 360mm aio ? Top as exhaust, front as push pull or the side panel as intake? I am also planning to add fans to the bottom, and the top if the aio is placed on the side or front. I just can't seem to make a decision yet . If place it top ,should i place intake fans on the side ? 9 fans as intakes sounds too much with only 4 as exhaust. What would you recommend sir ?

Top as exhaust would be best I think, as the side/front mount are better for intake and its better to have more intake than exhaust due to positive pressure which slows dust (I think)

Is the glass or airflow version better?

Depends on if you are looking for high airflow or not, the glass version has decent airflow with the side mount, but the front mesh on the airflow version is far superior

Placement of the I/O is on the top & not front, and the number of I/O is different. 6500D has the air flow version that allows fans to be added in the front. This case has the cutouts for those newer mobos that have the power connectors on the back.
