Corsair! Only because the original Nanoleaf are hella expensive doesn't mean the mini version should cost the same! 60 Bucks would've been more than enough! :D

I have the extension kit because from what I understood it can be connected to a commander pro but I am having trouble controlling the lights on it. I have a corsair 1000d case and two commander pro’s linked because the usb slots on the motherboard are occupied. I have connected the triangles to a commander pro but inside the software I can only see two channels and both are for my fans. Somehow the triangles are linked with the fans from channel one but even if I change the effects only the fans react and not the triangles.

If I have a spare rgb slot on my commander core xt, can i just buy the expansion kit and plug it in there ? From their website it looks like the only difference between the starter kit and the expansion is the lighting node pro. If not, I have a spare Lighting Node pro lol
@TotallySilenced2 жыл бұрын
Yes, just buy the expansion kit.

Did the price drop or something? Bought the expansion and starter kit for a total of 90 bucks. Maybe they weren’t selling well so got a permanent cut? I just found out about these and had to get them asap lol order them today already

Starter kit is on sale for $25 now

Not for me these. I spend most of my time turning off the Nanoleaf panels as they distract me too much lol. They must be drunk at that price mate 😉

If you have all 18 units connected do you just have to have the second master connected via sata for power and the second rgb header cable to the lighting node also? I only have one spare lighting node port left and want to use two kits so 18 units.
@TotallySilenced2 жыл бұрын
I didn’t use the second master triangle. I simply added some extra ones to my starter kit. You probably don’t even need to plug the second master triangle in via SATA or a header.
@robertweekes57832 жыл бұрын
It costs a lot because of precision machining, those magnet connectors snap together and the tolerances have to be pretty good. Plus each tile has 9 LEDs, and they can do ripple/rainbow effects, not just one color at a time
@robertweekes57832 жыл бұрын
Also they can fold around 2 or more panels at 90° for a 3-D look 👀
@Cereal_Killr2 жыл бұрын
I agree to a degree on the parts but magnets are cheap, leds are very cheap too. I build with them all the time. Even addressable LEDs are very cheap. I have 100's in my setup controlled with an ESP32 running the app WLED. But I do feel 100 bucks is not ridiculous although on the high side. 60-70 would make much more sense to me.

@@TotallySilenced quality like their iCue ? That is the single most bugged software ever judging by the numerous amounts of continuing crap all the users post about it. To me Corsair is nothing more but a boxshover, order their stuff in china and sell it around the world with a 1000% markup.
@1ofthewizards3302 жыл бұрын
These look really cool and I do have space for them at the bottom of my PC, but $130. That's too much for something with zero functionality. That being said I spent $100 on their LCD upgrade kit for the cooler cap LCD screen and I love it. If they brought the price down below $100 I would probably buy this though.

They're cool and all but just way overpriced, especially considering you could get Corsairs 240 capellix aio for the same price. I would much rather buy a spare TB of ssd storage or something that actually adds function to my PC. Honestly the most I would be willing to pay for these is about 50 USD.
@proudyy2 жыл бұрын
The problem is that there are whole cases or keyboards from Corsair which cost less and have the same good build quality. They should reduce the price to like 80$ maximum for those 9 triangles. And i think even 50-60$ is more fair cuz the light enhancement kit for the Corsair Vengeance RGB pro does the same and costs much less...
@TotallySilenced2 жыл бұрын
Still don’t know why they cost this much! Nothing really justifies the high asking price.
@mikemj82042 жыл бұрын
A $100 for starter kit and $80 for expansion would be fair.
