I love how unbiased you are! You have NO IDEA how much you helped me and my fiance! I just want to take the time to thank you. I've been looking for a gaming pc that can render with vray at the fastest speeds due to my career. Everywhere I've looked, NO ONE has broken down every aspect of a pc. You are HIGHLY easy to understand and are able to help someone like me who does NOT understand tech. Not only did you help me understand what PC i want/need, you also have helped me learn some "tech language" along the way so now i actually know what im talking about and looking for. I have looked all over the internet and in the real world to have someone to help me understand what i need in my pc and what pc i should be looking at. NO ONE helped me so far untill i came across your videos. Thank you SO MUCH!

Thanks for the great review and overview! It really helped me decide for my situation. I pulled the trigger on the i8100 and is in processing; apparently it's on backorder at this time. Despite the availability they told me at checkout, the shipping date was just now delayed another week. I'm a little apprehensive after hearing others that have been getting varying GPUs, so we'll see. I believe your Product Link is broken btw.

After DM'ing you on Twitter a few weeks back for feedback, I decided to go ahead and purchase this computer. After about three weeks of use, I have been extremely pleased with the performance. Was a little hesitant about what kind of thermals I would get, but I was completed amazed that the 13900KS ran as cool as it did, and the fan noise is night and day from my previous Alienware, which pretty much mimicked an F15 taking off. My biggest gripe was that my model came with the Palit Gamerock 4090. The GPU has performed very well, but there is no RGB lighting on it at all. I contacted Corsair support only to be told that the ICU software did not support the Palit cards. The Gamerocks have an extensive RGB setup, so I'm not sure why the cards RGBs cannot be activated through the motherboard, and simply controlled with the Palit Thunderware software (which it probably can to be honest). Regardless, the lack of RGBs on the card make the bottom two thirds of that huge case a huge black hole of darkness. A big disappointment for me. Overall though, I'm extremely pleased, despite the hefty price of the machine. Again, thanks for taking the time to personally respond to my questions via Twitter. Your input (and your previous review of the i7400) really helped my decision making a lot easier.

I ordered the i8100 last Sunday and it arrived on Friday. Pretty fast shipping. Came with the PNY Verto (not the XLR8) 4090 and the RM1000X PSU. Haven’t figured out which SSD was installed, but will guess it is the same as yours. Looks like a Samsung, but which one did you get in your rig? You have the first review out and was hoping you would do one. Thanks as it makes me feel better to know I made a great choice. Came pretty close to getting the MSI rig as it has the Suprim liquid X 4090, but I’ve seen a few reviews where the air cooled 4090 actually ran a little cooler. With all the high spec’d parts they put in here, was a little surprised they went with the lowest level Asus Mobo. But if it works fine, not a big deal I guess. I priced out all these same parts (but used the MP600 SSD) and the price was only marginally lower than the $4600 Corsair charges. To get a 2 year warranty pretty much evens it out in my opinion. I think when you take into consideration the quality of the components Corsair chose for this build, the price ratio looks better. When you run a i9 13900ks paired with a 4090, FPS starts to get irrelevant. Most builds do not have 4Tb of SSD storage. If they do have 4Tb it almost always a 2tb SSD paired with a 2Tb mechanical HD. And most also only have 32GB of RAM. 64 is way overkill…until you need it. I plan on doing video and photo editing as well as games. I think the price is very reasonable for what you get. All top tier parts.

As a young man, back in the early 1960s, I was into cars, especially Mustangs. The best of the best was the Shelby Mustang GT 350. From a price perspective, you could buy one for what this prebuilt cost. Either way, you'd have significant bragging rights. At this price, GPU AOI should be an option, and the RAM should be at least 6000mhz.
@JustinTechTips Жыл бұрын
@Outlet lol yeah that's one way to put it. It is pretty expensive. I agree the RAM could be faster too at this price point
@outlet6989 Жыл бұрын
I appreciate your reply and how fast you wrote it. I knew the Shelby GT 350 part would draw attention to my comment. My latest build is very close in price to the one you tested. I went with the faster ram, an EK GPU cooler, and four 140mm Corsair fans, one of which I mounted on the bottom of the case. My benchmarks are as good, some even better than the Corsair you tested, even without overclocking. Thanks again for your reply.

Greetings - Thank you for the amazing review. Budget is not an issue for me and I have no desire to build my own PC so I was drawn to this PC. However, I would love a video explaining all the USB Ports. For example, if I use an Engato XL, Facecam Prp Camera, and so on, which USB ports are the best to use, and can I use a powered USB hub on the highest-rated USB port to power all my items since my PC is planned to be about 10' away from my desk area. Do you have a video that explains the uses of all the USB Ports? Why have (2) USB 3.2 Gen 1, then (2) USB 2.0, and then (1) USB 3.2, and so on....can you help make sense of all these USB ports and their limitations. A port explanation video would be awesome......Again thanks for the great content.

I didn’t want to take the whole PC apart and mess something up so I just assumed it was something like a bad motherboard so I called Corsair support and they said it sounds like the PC is not posting and that I could get it replaced so I sent it back in it’s original box and am currently awaiting the replacement to arrive. Hopefully everything is good this time.

This is the prebuilt I want but I've never had liquid cooling. Is there anything to know about it? Regular maintenance? Threats of leaking? Replacing the liquid inside? Is it water?
@wilsondiscgolf00 Жыл бұрын
This is a closed AIO cooler, so no maintenance is necessary.

Do you know the exact length width depth and weight of the shipping box? The website isn’t accurate and says depth is about 9.8 inches which isn’t accurate cuz you said one side was 10 inches of the physical pc. (Not box) I need this info to estimate if I can ship it to my APO after I send it to my parents.

Can you test the latest NZXT and Skytech custom builds against this?

It's tempting, but if I'm going to spend that much, I think I'd go with Xidax: more options and a Lifetime Warranty. I don't think I've seen anyone test them recently though...

Sorry forgot to hit subscribe before asking my question!! Do you know if the skytech Azure 2's motherboard supports wifi? I'm having trouble getting a confirmation from skytech. Also is the Azure 2 still the best value now that the price has increased?
@JustinTechTips Жыл бұрын
@Andrew Chan Thanks for the sub! Yep it supports wifi! I know it does seem like it might not since it doesn't show any external wifi antennas. That is pretty annoying that they raised the price after my review increased the demand on that one, but yes I just ran the new numbers just now and even at $100 more it still has the lowest dollar/fps ratio out of all the latest gen prebuilts I've seen. Please remember to use my affiliate link if you do end up getting that one from Skytech! :) bit.ly/SkytechAzure2 Best Buy also has a more powerful version with a 4080 that would be about 20% faster but it will also cost $500 more. bestbuy.7tiv.net/3ePdWr

I like a lot of corsairs components and accessories but I would recommend building your own, the amount they up charge for prebuilds is too high, I get it they have to make a profit but I would still recommend doing a bunch of research and building your own, hell you could just buy these components individually and build it yourself

Would you say a consumer is gonna wanna go with this i8100 set up for cooling if it's running a 13th gen cpu? I'm gonna use it for more than just gaming. I'm gonna be editing video as well and graphic design as well

Is this a good option to buy with the intention to upgrade it even more later? I bought an r10 3080ti a while back. It works very well but just being more informed now, i feel i want a computer with better cooling, lots more upgrade options. With the r10, i added more memory but obviously i can't fit an rtx 4090 in it unless i swap the whole case

Is this pc loud? I’m asking because you did a similar review with a pc that had around the same specs (i7400). In the other video you said one of the cons was the noise and in both tests it was around the same. Other than that really helpful review!
