Even with rgb ram coming out I still had to get these Went with my black and blue build and although corsair made it to where you can have static lighting I still prefer the random blinking of the default mode It's very soothing

Hey, I've got the same board as you. You can turn off that big ass red LED on the Hero's start button in the UEFI BIOS. I'm guessing you've got the mobo, strix gpu, and corsair i series set to temperature...or maybe just green. But either way, yeah...I had the same thing and killing the red light helps not look like a Christmas tree.

Red ones are nice. I'm going to upgrade to 32gb, for the sole purpose of having red and blue LEDs on my RAM. Most expensive LEDs ever.

Nice, I also have two of those LED RAMs, also gonna order the Asus Strix, but the gtx 1070 version, not sure which one you have there. I hope Corsair will offer alternative bios in the future, so we can modify the LED blinking behaviour.

This ram has very poor quality control, bought two kits and defective one stick by one stick. Dominator is a much better choice
