That's because the original video is in a different language and this is a translation. It does sound odd, but the translator is being trying to be very specific on the using the same terms that the demonstrator is using.

The instructions are lacking. Why is the camera so zoomed out when you could have zoomed in so we can see it clearly. Also would have been helpful to see the sewing machine how she did the zig zag stitch instead of just talking about it
