The Mediterranean is a ferry built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique for the SNCM in 1989.
Since its commissioning, it has secured connections with Corsica
Originally it was expected that the ship underwent major renovations but given the high cost that this review could represent (over 20 million euros), Pierre-Antoine Villanova, CEO of Corsica Linea, announced in July 2017 that the Mediterranean will leave the fleet

Car comme il partira bientôt de la flotte, du coup il l' ont pas peint en livrée rouge. Car c' est à la fois inutile et coûteux.
