They shadow nerfed him after the pvp mode beta test, so like 4 months ago. He was too OP in that mode so they thought it’d be a good idea to nerf him in every mode. He’s still awful by the way, his increased burn time which was the golden pyro’s whole thing is nullified when he reaches his cap. He shouldn’t have a cap at all, we saw what happened to glad after he was given a pierce cap..utterly useless.

I'd love to see the game have special units for specific maps. Like in some maps will specifies more on lead enemies, some will have flying/hidden more (you get what I mean). Doing this could encourage players to diversify the builds since 1 tower may be good at a map but sucks at another. I know it takes a lot of works and we already have difficulties, but just think about that, wouldn't that be great?

Pyro feels more like a mid a tier. The buff to its max hits and cost makes him better for waves like the breakers and the necromancers. It just falls flat against single enemies, but the defense melting debuff it can give is pretty useful, making it easier for dps towers like accelerator or golden mini to shred.

Calling pyro "useless" is an overwhelming term for how good it actually is. I would've rather called it "forgotten" or "not used by many", but calling it useless is not a good statement as it REALLY isn't useless.

Now we can consider to always bring gpyro for early, HD, CC, n defense melt/reduction. However, we kinda waste a bit (even only one slot tower) cuz this is full support n not dps (perhaps switch with brawler, gsoldier, gscout, cowboy, ect.) Although gpyro doesn't offer DPS, that's not its sole purpose. It is for CC especially to counter purple breakers (sometimes they got nimble and bloated). We still need at least 2 or 3 max gpryo to fully clear late game breakers so other towers won't get distracted. It's kinda sad that it supposed to logicaly hit anything passes through (like molly consumable) but for the sake of difficulty balance n better fps for low devices, I dont mind much for this gpyro buff update
