Whoever wrote Cortana's taunt towards Buck, I'm willing to bet isn't a veteran. This situation - being vastly more experienced, yet playing second fiddle to younger troops - is common in the military. Whether you're a Chief/Sergeant taking orders from a boot butterbar, or a mustang junior officer answering to a CPT/LT half your age, or even that you're a cynical long-in-the-tooth officer who stopped caring about your fitreps like me and are just doing what you must under whoever you're assigned to to get out, this happens _all the time._ And Cortana of all people, being a military AI, should understand that we're used to it. This jab means nothing to me, and it means nothing to Buck either.

Do you know what’s unfortunate is fire team? Osiris are probably the main problems with halo five. I mean, the majority of the characters we had never seen before. Most of them were never even given proper time for their character to be flushed out. And aside from buck the majority of them, we’re just boring. Also, I have not nor will I ever consider threes and fours as true Spartans.

yeah buck was my favorite. alot of them were played by good va or actors but didnt shine. meanwhile buck is played by the cayde 6 actor and knocks it out of the park in both roles!
