I was at this show...I'm easily into triple figures seeing this band since the early 80's and the orginal line up. Going back for more this July! Dave IS Y&T! Still has the chops, still has that iconic voice and still rocks like a mofo! Great East Bay Rock from back in the day which still stands up to anything the current crop of "rockers" can produce with thier auto tuned, over-produced, and focus grouped non-sense! Oh and absolutely no backing tracks on any of thier live performances an never will! Y & T Forever!!!!

Dave has been playing that 1960 Les Paul for over 50 years (apparently not good enough reason for Gibson to make him a signature model) and was pleasantly surprised to see it here when I first saw this video because I keep hearing rumors it's so played out even Gibson themselves couldn't fix it anymore. He's played it so much he wore out the neck. THE NECK!!!

I was at the starwood for motely cru first show opening for them. 2 things motely cru sounded like shit and there autobiography the movie the dirt I'll say it the truth they lie none of that crap happened there was no fight. The show the other night was one of the best I've seen. 4 guys playing live flawlessly. All of sudden it hit me I learned and played 25hrs a day in 1980. I thought about the 3 original who passed. Then I looked at my friend his band played a lot of y&t and realized he's the only 1 left mark rip and Lorne who played with great white are gone. Damn the sands of time move fast . Doesn't seem possible the first time I seen them was 45 years ago

Dave, "Red Rocks" show in Denver mid August. I moved out of California and back to America years ago. I may have paid to see your show only thirty of forty times in the Bay and in the central valley. Interesting but I believe, "Winds of Change" at Red Rocks would be as magical as it was at Manteca Waterslides in 1990. 1984 Day on the Green when Y and T blew away Ratt was pretty special also.

Ummm, unless I'm missing something here (and I'm pretty sure I'm not), the original band was Yesterday and Today. You obviously have Y&T confused with Canadian Rockers "April Wine", whom did the song "Rock N Roll Is A Vicious Game", from the 1978 LP "First Glance".

Dave is a brilliant player/writer/vocalist. i love Y&T. honestly this version of the band is NOT tight. Sloppy. good bassist. drummer is okay for now. REMOVE the other guitarist and replace him. shitty player, shitty tone with NO stage presence. A+ on the Mesa. i play my own original music on my channel. Dave hit me up, i might be interested in stepping in on 2nd guitar. i have not offered this to anyone else before. Y&T should be playing to much BIGGER crowds. DAVE is a true inspiration.....
