🏁This guy is the reason why I finally decided to buy a Corvette. The videos he makes are really informative and clear.

I bought a 1975 Corvette last month, March 23rd. I've watched all your Corvette videos, love them. Thanks for showing me how to do almost all the things I'll need to do to work on my Vette and save a ton of money! You're great!

@@ProblemSolverGarage I really enjoy all your videos. I find them informative and humorous. I have a question for you though. I saw your video on the parking break and knew I had to work on mine as well. It was loose and sloppy and I needed to adjust it. I took the rear wheels off to see what the parking break shoes looked like. I got the calipers off and hung up and everything. But I can't get the rotors off. Do you have any tips on how to get them off? I've sprayed WD-40 in all the places I thought would help. But I can't get them to budge. Let me know if you have any ideas! Thanks!
@ProblemSolverGarage2 жыл бұрын
There’s rivets that hold the rotors on, you have to drill the rivets out
@ProblemSolverGarage2 жыл бұрын
Mine somebody already drilled the rivets out in the past, I didn’t mention in the video at some point
@shadowdragon86962 жыл бұрын
@@ProblemSolverGarage Thanks, but all those holes are empty. I think someone has already drilled out my rivets too. So frustrating...

Thanks so much!!! I was at witts end trying to figure why my back-up lights didn't work. Pulling out the switch and cleaning it , making adjustment to the contacts inside, it worked. I now have back-up lights.

This is tribal knowledge being passed on! So awesome! These vids are my goto now when my ‘69 is sick and needs help from a Vette Doctor! Starting to binge watch to get a heads up on what’s gonna happen sooner or later! Cheers from Maine!

I just finished binge-watching this entire series - it's excellent! I learned more from your videos than I have from any other source. I watched them on my TV, so I just went back to them on my laptop gave a like on each episode. I have a '79 Vette, but most of what you did apply to that year as well. How about digging into a Fiat X1/9 next? That's another project car I'll be working on. :)

That’s awesome I appreciate you commenting and watching, I’m hoping to do a Corvette C4 once I’m done the BMW that I’m working on now, I still have a few more Corvette episodes coming

@@ProblemSolverGarage That'd be good, too! I also have a "91 C4 convertible. It only has 14,500 miles on it, so it doesn't need much, it's like a brand new 31-year-old car. But it does have a couple of age-related issues, like a dried out and broken plastic power seat gear (needs a new seat transmission - I haven't found just the gears available lately), and failed Bose speaker amps from dried out capacitors. I'm going to try my hand at soldering new capacitors on the boards this summer. Of course, it does need a lot of maintenance service, like all fluids, new brake hoses and bleeding, etc. I'm looking forward to the new series.

Ohhhh, this is brilliant. My reverse lights come on when I put the car in neutral. I bet it just needs adjustment. Thanks!!

9:50 Don't use Vaseline on plastic parts. It is a petroleum product and can soften or damage plastic pieces. There are lubricants made for plastic-electronic parts that would be better.

Sounds like your cigarette lighter has a short inside possibly, there are only a few dollars to replace

@@ProblemSolverGarage Thanks, I will pick one up. Also when I turn on my high beams they blink really fast. What do you thing would cause that
@ProblemSolverGarage2 жыл бұрын
By cigarette lighter I meant the cigarette lighter bezel like what the cigarette lighter plugs into, the highbeams sound like possibly a bad ground, try adding an extra ground to the negative wire at the lights the highbeam lights

Great vid once more. So just to clarify, the car should only start when in Park? Mine starts when in Neutral as well...

I can’t remember now, both ways might be right depending on the safety neutral switch.
